Ladies Guild Calendar of Events 2025-2026

Ladies Guild News

Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 7:00 pm in the Parish Center. All ladies of the parish are invited to attend. Membership fees are only $10 per year. We hope you will consider joining our ranks.

If meetings aren’t your thing, consider joining the Ladies Guild at its monthly Bunco. The next session will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 7:00 pm in the Parish Center. Sign-in begins around 6:30 pm. Bunco is open to everyone, and no reservations are needed. The cost to play is only $10 and cash prizes based on the number of players are awarded at the end of the evening. Complimentary soft drinks, water and coffee are available, some snacks will be provided, but players are encouraged to bring a treat to share. If you’re feeling lucky, we also have a split-the-pot raffle. It’s a few hours of fun but, be warned, it can get loud! If you have any questions about the Guild or Bunco, please contact Andrea Hoffman at 773-581-0816 or andrhoff@yahoo.com or Andi Pocica at 773-610-5686 or andrea.pocica@sbcglobal.net.

Raffles:

We sponsor several holiday-themed split-the-pot raffles throughout the year. Tickets are $10 each with 100 tickets sold. The winning ticket has the same last 2 digits of Evening Pick 3 Illinois Lottery Game on the published drawing date. Sale dates can be found on the calendar above.

Masses:

We attend two special Masses each year. The first is near All Souls Day in honor of all the deceased members of the Ladies Guild (November 1, 2025 at 4:30 pm). The second is in June for the living members of the Ladies Guild (June 14, 2026 at 10:30 am). The Mass is followed by brunch at a nearby restaurant as an end-of-the-year celebration.

Parish Fellowship & Support:

The Ladies Guild has supported and continues to support our parish as needs present themselves. This includes: supporting the REF and RCIA programs by gifting First Communion prayer books to children on their First Holy Communion, as well as patron saint prayer cards and Holy Spirit bracelets for the Confirmandi; gifting bannisters for the altar, a new Our Lady of Guadalupe vestment, new flags for the church and Ward Hall, as well as cash donations for various parish fundraisers.

We are always interested in new way to promote fellowship and support our faith. If you know of a craft or event that would be of interest to our group, please share the info! We are glad for every opportunity to gather together.

Project Linus:

In March, we will get together to make fleece blankets for Project Linus. These blankets offer comfort to children and families coping with various health issues.
