The Youth Group at St. Faustina Kowalska Parish invites youth to its meetings every Thursday from 7:30 – 9:30 pm. Those interested are asked to call the parish office.

March for Life- 01/11/2020

This past Sunday the St Faustina Youth marched for life in the downtown Chicago ProLife Parade. The weather couldn’t stop our youth from marching for what they believe in. It was an opportunity to recall why we stand for life and continue to defend human life in our communities.

National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC)

The St. Faustina Parish Youth Ministry Group would like to thank everyone who so graciously donated toward and supported our trip to the National Catholic Youth Conference November 21-23, 2019. Eleven youth had the privilege of attending this event thanks to your donations! This conference, which typically draws up to 25,000 youth and adults from all over the country, provided us with an amazing variety of opportunities to experience and encounter Jesus Christ and His Church. We even had the opportunity to hear a special message from Pope Francis himself! Once again, thank you all!

Next week, our parish youth will be attending The National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) in Indianapolis. This conference invites participants to encounter Christ, experience church, and be empowered for discipleship. NCYC includes an amazing variety of opportunities for our young people to experience an encounter with Jesus Christ and His Church. With over 25,000 young people and adults from all over the country attending this event, we would like to thank you all for your generous donations and will keep you close to our prayers during this event.

HOLY FIRE RETREAT

This past October, the REF confirmation students and other teens attended the Holy Fire Retreat. Performers from around the country and thousands of youth from across the Archdiocese of Chicago spent a day long at a conference that brought over 9,000 students from 154 schools and parishes together in 2018. Sixth through ninth graders were challenged to participate in activities centered around prayer, witness, and joy that perpetuate the concept of becoming missionary disciples who witness the faith.

LOVE AND MERCY MOVIE

Love and Mercy: Faustina, is a movie dedicated to Saint Faustyna Kowalska and the message of God’s Mercy, has biggest success in Poland than his previous movie. This past week this movie was in several movie theaters across the Chicagoland area and we attended as a youth group.
